Ian’s practice focuses primarily on insurance defence, personal injury, and employment law. He has appeared before the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia and various tribunals. Ian is also adept at resolving matters outside of court through processes such as mediation.
With respect to his employment law practice, Ian has assisted employee clients with their wrongful dismissal and constructive dismissal claims and human rights complaints. He has helped his clients negotiate highly satisfactory severance packages. Ian has also represented employers in complex employment law matters as well.
Ian was called to the bar in 2018. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria. Prior to law school, Ian attended Simon Fraser University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts, graduating with distinction.
Outside of law, Ian enjoys listening to music, hiking, and kickboxing.
